Basically, the top row is how they presented themselves to the world. The perception maybe.
The middle row is their destructive, passionate and extreme dark sides. Maybe you could say, the REAL them, the human being and not the perception.
The bottom is THE PASSION and the rage, a mixture of both of the above or... art in practice. Marilyn, drugged up blowing up a kiss, Sylvia sitting in half shadow ready to unleash, River method acting as psychotic Talbot Roe in "Silent Tongue" and Kurt completely disillusioned but adored at Live and Loud (i think that was it).
